Personal Safety; not restricted to the developing world, criminality is a huge concern to travellers. Some travellers are ‘seasoned’, others not so, in any event if we don’t belong in the country or stand out for any reason then naturally we are vulnerable to be targeted by criminals. We will discuss pre-deployment measures, suggest day to day behaviour to mitigate the risk and what actions might be carried out on return.
