CBRN

In an increasingly uncertain world the threat of a Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear (CBRN) event cannot be ruled out. This could be the result of an accident or terrorist incident, but irrespective of how the release happens, the effects on personnel, equipment, infrastructure, business continuity and the environment can be very similar. The Toxic Hazard Environment Awareness (THEA) courses are designed to make personnel aware of a developing toxic hazard situation or to be able to recognise that such an environment already exists. Furthermore, the courses demonstrate how to avoid or take protective measures to evacuate from the hazard area or remain and work safely in this type of hostile environment. The training package contents are a mixture of theory and practical and can be carried either at our training sites or at your location as stand alone modules or as part of the OSSFAT course.
